Welcome to Remotiko (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services (the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
  • By using the Platform, you represent that you have the authority to enter into this agreement.

2. Services Provided

  • Job Seekers: may search, view, and apply for remote job opportunities.
  • Employers/Recruiters: may create accounts, post job listings, and manage applications.

Currently, job postings may be free. However, we reserve the right to introduce paid job postings and other premium services. When fees apply, the provisions in Section 4 (Payments & Refunds) will govern.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Employers must post accurate, lawful, and non-discriminatory job listings. Misleading, fraudulent, or harmful postings are prohibited.
  • Job seekers must provide truthful and accurate information in their applications.
  • Users agree not to misuse the Platform, including attempting to disrupt operations or use it for spamming/scams.

4. Payments & Refunds (for Paid Services)

  • Payment: Fees for job postings or other paid services must be paid in full before a listing is published, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Refunds: All payments are non-refundable once a job post is published, since visibility is provided immediately.
  • Exceptions: Refunds or credits may be granted only if:
    • The posting cannot go live due to a technical error caused by us; or
    • The listing is rejected by us for violating our rules (in such cases, we may issue either a refund or platform credit, at our discretion).
  • Results Not Guaranteed: We do not guarantee applications, hires, or candidate quality. The Platform provides visibility only.

5. Job Post Approval & Removal

  • We reserve the right to review, approve, reject, or remove any job posting that violates our rules, applicable law, or community standards.
  • Employers are solely responsible for the content of their listings.

6. Intellectual Property

  • The Platform and all related content, logos, and trademarks remain our property.
  • Users retain ownership of their job postings and application materials but grant us a non-exclusive license to display such content on the Platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We provide the Platform on an “as-is” basis without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not responsible for:
    • Accuracy or legitimacy of job postings or candidate profiles.
    • The hiring process, employment decisions, or any disputes between users.
    • Loss of profits, opportunities, or data from using the Platform.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent/misleading activities.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the revised date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
