What You’ll Do
Accurate Interpretation: You will provide complete and precise real-time interpretation over the phone between Mandarin and English.
Maintain Standards: You will uphold strict confidentiality, impartiality, and a professional code of ethics during assignments.
Active Listening: You will listen attentively to nuances and convey messages clearly and effectively.
Professional Conduct: You will adhere to company protocol and deliver exceptional service quality.
Continuous Improvement: You will prepare thoroughly for assigned sessions and continuously refine your skills.
What We’re Looking For
Language Mastery: Native Mandarin Chinese and C1/C2 English proficiency.
Key Soft Skills: Excellent listening comprehension, mental agility, and interpersonal communication.
Precision: Ability to capture and convey meaning accurately without omissions or alterations.
Work Ethic: High reliability, punctuality, strong attention to detail, and professionalism.
Shift Commitment: Flexibility to work designated shift hours aligned with PST.
Note: Prior experience in customer service, call centers, administrative roles, or teaching is a plus, but not mandatory!

Position Details
Work Arrangement: 100% Fully Remote
Employment Type: Independent contractor
Schedules Offered: Full-time (9 hrs/day, 5 days/week) & Part-time (4.5 hrs/day, 5 days/week) options
Days Off: 2 consecutive days off per week
Shifts & Time Zones: Work during Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours, which are overnight shifts in local Asian time zones.
Compensation: USD $7.00 per hour logged in
Payment Terms: Net 10 (NET10)
Training: 3 weeks of fully paid training provided (Monday to Friday, requires availability from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM PST)
Language Requirements: Native Mandarin Chinese and C1/C2 English proficiency
