Email Marketing Assistant

Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring an Email Marketing Assistant for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will own a UK brand’s email calendar — campaigns built, tested and scheduled, lists kept clean and results reported back.

A good fit if you like the mix of writing, building and measuring, and want to grow a marketing career with a UK business from home in South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Build and schedule email campaigns and newsletters
• Draft and proofread subject lines and body copy
• Maintain subscriber lists, segments and suppressions
• Run A/B tests and report on opens, clicks and conversions
• Keep the email calendar organised and on schedule
• Support landing page and form setup for campaigns

What you’ll need

• Experience with an email platform such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign or HubSpot
• Confident written English with a clean, readable style
• Comfortable reading campaign metrics and reporting on them
• Well organised and able to hold a content calendar
• A reliable fibre connection, a working laptop and a quiet place to work

Nice to have

• Familiarity with basic HTML for email templates
• Experience with Canva or similar for campaign visuals
• Exposure to automation flows or customer journeys

• Working hours of 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST), Monday to Friday
