Job Description
This is an internship of up to 6 months, expected to start in mid to late August 2026. Candidates must be based in Nairobi and have access to a home office setup that supports full-time remote work.

Responsibilities

Detailed high-level report writing around different sustainable finance topics including clean energy, debt, sustainable transport, sustainable sovereign debt, built environment and other major impact investment themes
Organising events, project management and stakeholder management
Working on multiple projects and ensuring deliverables are completed before deadlines
Preparing presentations and documents in support of BwB advisory work
Developing revenue and cost models, transactional due diligence and structuring
High-level research of key data points in projects
Support the design and execution of development and climate-aligned investment solutions
Conduct research and analysis across health, education, energy and agriculture sectors
Skills required

Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills
Passion for sustainable development and on the role that finance can play
Highly motivated with a desire to learn and develop professional competencies
Able to work independently ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and satisfy deadlines set
Proficient when it comes to report writing and managing timelines
Team player willing to adapt to new challenges in a fast entrepreneurial environment
Some examples of desirable skills include research, presentation building, and financial modelling. Experience or demonstrated capability in any of these areas would be viewed positively
Proficiency in English is required, mastery of a second language is highly desirable
Qualifications
A recent graduate, ideally with a background in Sustainable Finance, Climate Change, or International Development.
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Additional Information
The role is fully remote, home office based.
